    Re: Gas prices next step?

Co-worker just came in from lunch and reported $4.75/gal in Wise.

People are in panic mode. I saw a woman at Wal-Mart self-check-out with 3 5-gal cans.

Prices were still $3.98/$3.99 throughout Norton at lunchtime, but the lines at all the stations were long.
    You'll shoot your eye out.

Go to gaswatch.energy.gov and report any that are gouging

    Also contact your representatives.

There is no shortage right now, this is a fear factor type event.

There was a good article on tri-cities.com I think.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

Got a report that Black Diamond was listed as $5.60 in Wise area. And on tri-cities.com, they have a picture of a station which was $5.49 (and thats on Market Street in johnson city)

I just passed by the gas station on Market Street that's $5.49. Everywhere else is still around the $3.99 mark.

A lady here at work just went up to BD past McDs and said it was $3.97.
